The Student Research Journal (SRJ) allows USFSP to follow in the tradition of student scholarship found at many other schools, including Berkeley, Clemson, and Harvard University. The USFSP Student Research Journal is currently undergoing editorial changes.

The SRJ is published using the University of South Florida St. Petersburg's Digital Archive. Style guides, adapted from the APA, MLA, and Chicago will be used to standardize writing conventions.

For information on the history of the SRJ, see The USFSP Student Research Journal and the Library’s Role as Publisher and Champion
